Dn1 | Psychology homework help

Your instructor will randomly assign each student a Library Assignment. This assignment will be dedicated to a topic related to Human Development. No student will have the same topic. Your instructor will guide you regarding selection of topics. Do not begin to write your paper until your instructor has approved your topic. Once a topic is chosen, all selections are final.

•

•  The Aging Process

The paper will consist of a 1 Page Essay (single space) on the selected topic. The essay will include the Title Page and a Body Page. No in-text citations in the body of the paper or References Page are needed. Students are encouraged to save an additional electronic copy of your assignments to avoid losing or damaging the final results.

In the body of your paper, each student should incorporate terms from the textbook demonstrating a smooth transition in your writing and maintain professional undertone. For scholarly information regarding your topic, please refer to Coastal Pines Technical College’s on-line electronic library GALILEO.

Additional Writing Resources

As an additional resource for writing in APA style, log on to www.apastyle.org and

www.plagiarism.org for more information. As you prepare to research your topic, be sure to access the APA folder in Blackboard, participate in the APA workshops on campus, explore CPTC’s electronic library (LIBGuides), and refer to your text book and scholarly articles in GALILEO to properly cite reputable sources for your library assignment/essay.

Avoid communications such as ghost writers, on-line student papers, e-mail communications, publications, hearsay and double hearsay, Facebook, Twitter, Suite101, Encyclopedia’s and Wikipedia and the dictionary. These sources are not acceptable or viewed as reputable communications simply because: 1) these communications can be altered by anyone, 2) some communications do not provide recoverable data that can be retraced and 3) such statements provide no evidence to prove the truth of what is asserted.

Power Point Presentation

Each student will be required to submit in Blackboard a creative and detailed Power Point Slide show reflecting their assigned library topic. Students will also present their Power Point Portfolio before the class. The power point slide show must contain a title slide with the name of the library topic and the student’s name. The remaining seven slides must contain headings addressing all questions answered in the Essay paper. Using a grading rubric, your instructor will evaluate you the student on your knowledge, information and critical application of the topic as addressed in your essay paper and Power Point Portfolio.

Turnitin

Students are required to submit to the final draft of their typed Essay in a Microsoft Word document to Turnitin.  The Turnitin link will be accessible in Blackboard. Turnitin is the leading academic plagiarism detector, utilized by teachers all around the world to help students avoid plagiarism and ensure academic honesty and integrity is maintained in all educational institutions.

Important: If the final draft of your library assignment is typed and saved in another format (i.e., Word Pad or Word Perfect), this will likely affect the appearance of your paper when you submit it to the Turnitin link in Blackboard. This will also impact your final grade for the assignment.

Each student will be required to access his or her Smarthinking account by visiting the official website. Submission to Smarthinking is included in the overall grade for the Essay. Remember, students must submit a rough draft of their typed library assignment to Smarthinking. You, the student will receive feedback from a subject area expert. Students will incorporate the suggestions from the feedback into the final draft of their typed library assignment. Procrastination with submissions to Smarthinking will delay a timely feedback response. Students are also required to submit their feedback from Smarthinking to the assigned drop box as instructed in Blackboard.
